FAQ stands for “Frequently Asked Questions” – but this site is brand spankin’ new and there AREN’T any frequently asked questions yet! If you’ve got a question, let’s hear it! I’m dying to break this puppy in.

Dear Caissie, I am concerned that under ‘Other Stuff I’m Loving,” there is nothing but blank space. No picture of Matt, or even Boone the Driver. Are we to believe the love is lost? Have you looked for it on Google Earth? Please advise. Sincerely, Misty

When does your book tour come to northern California?

When it came time for there to be a plot for Jane Jones, was there a particular part of the story, beginning/middle/end, that became clear in your head first? When you write, how much do you need to outline if ever?

Oh, how awesome would THAT be? No firm plans as of yet – not even sure YA authors really do big book tours, but I am hoping to be on your coast for SOME reason sometime soon.

@euphoriafish: I came up with the premise first, and I wrote an opening scene/first chapter just sort free writing – so I guess I knew the beginning once I wrote it. From there, I had to sit and think a little bit about where I wanted Jane to go. (I say “had to” because my agent made me, that meanie!) I sort of outlined it like I would have done with a TV script, then proceeded to flesh out that outline in subsequent chapters. Of course, unexpected things cropped up that required a little pondering/creativity, but it really helped to have a map of what I wanted to have happen.

Thank you for being my first FAQ! I will have to think of a better way to display these, I think. Still getting the hang of this thing!

Caissie:

If two trains leave Chicago, one headed east at 55 mph and the other headed west at 57 mph, and each must travel a total distance of 1,500 miles, of those two trains which conductor is named Phillip?

Donna

P.S. If you answered “east”, you’re sooooo wrong! :-)

Hi Caissie,

I hope all is well with you, my question is; How cute does a cake have to be before you say “I’m going to gobble you right up”? ;)

Hi Cassie!

Love the blog and really want to read your book. Except I can’t, because there’s no Kindle version available in the UK. Why do publishers go out of their way to make it difficult to buy the book you want to buy?

Dear Ms. St. Onge,
HI! I was just wondering, do you plan to write a sequel to Jane Jones? I guite liked the ending, but it DOES leave room for more books. So I was just wondering. :3 On a similar note, do you have any plans for other books unrelated to this one?
Thank you for the lovely book!
